Inherited near-failed — with the client doubting we had designers at all.
Fifteen legacy automotive-electrical units were supposed to become modern, interactive digital courses. What actually existed: fifteen unusable storyboards with no design templates, missing subject-matter input, and a client whose confidence had collapsed, openly questioning whether the vendor side had instructional designers at all. The project was inherited in a near-failed state, and the delivery date was then pulled forward a month.
The content allowed no shortcuts. Ohm’s and Watt’s law, circuit behavior, digital multimeter procedure, relays, schematics, diagnostics — material demanding mechanical precision as much as pedagogical intent, for learners who will put their hands on real vehicles.
